Bushfire Relief
Holy Trinity’s social justice ministry, IMPACT, is taking a group of people out near Strathewen to help locals recover from the devastating Black Saturday bushfires.
The work may include re-establishing gardens, some heavy pruning of dead and burnt trees and possibly replanting fruit trees and more.
All welcome – a willingness to work and a basic level of health and fitness is all that is required.
We are meeting at the church at 8am and will be arriving at Panton Hill church vicarage by 8.30 and then heading to the property where we will spend the rest of the day helping. The finish time is unsure, but people can start leaving from 4pm if need be.
Registrations essential – please email Georgie or Ryan by Thursday November 5.
