People at Pickering

Light lunch, continuous cuppa, music, games and friends. This activity is held in the Pickering Room at Holy Trinity and is open to anyone and everyone. We encourage people to bring along friends, family & neighbours, anyone they know who would enjoy this kind of social interaction. It is held on the third Thursday of each month from 12noon – 2pm.

English Classes

Do you know someone who is finding English conversation or reading difficult? Please let them know about our friendly classes. Overseas visitors and short term students are welcome. English language classes operate on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am-12noon during school terms. Beginners to advanced classes are available. An on-site creche operates during the classes. Donation $2.

Book Club

A Christian book club meets to read and then discuss a wide variety of books.

Sport

A badminton club meets on Thursday nights at 8pm.Holy Trinity Tennis Club has two en tout cas courts available for experienced players. There is an active mid-week ladies social tennis group as well as mixed social tennis on Saturdays. There is a club house on-site. Membership fees apply.

Library & Resource Centre

A wide range of books, DVDs, CDs & tapes for all age groups are available for borrowing after the 10am service on Sunday
mornings, and on Thursday mornings from 9.30am-noon during school terms.

Holy Trinity Choir

The choir meets each week on Thursdays from 7.30pm-8.30pm. The choir sings at the 10am service once a month and concentrates on contemporary praise worship music, although some of the classical choir pieces are also part of the repertoire. Being able to read music is not necessary, although helpful. If you can sing on key and enjoy being part of a musical ministry,you are welcome and we would love to have your participation.
