Women’s Ministries

HTD offers a number of ministries that operate especially for women.

Ladies Guild Fellowship

Ladies Guild Fellowship meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 1:30 pm in the Pickering Room. The aims of the group are to meet like-minded Christian ladies, supporting church members and those in the wider community in practical ways as well as by prayer. At each meeting there is a short devotion, an interesting speaker and afternoon tea.

Projects include taking posies of flowers to the residents at the Manningham Centre, as well as sending flowers to those who are unwell. Knitted jackets are presented to new babies of the parish. Baptism kits are given to the families of babies being baptised at Holy Trinity and knitted garments and rugs are made for the Mission House.

New members are very welcome.

Coffee & Dessert Nights

Held three or four times a year-a great social night with a thought provoking speaker.

Craft Group

The Craft Group have enjoyed a year of learning, fun and fellowship. We meet on Friday mornings at the church from 9.30am to 12 noon. Classes have included patchwork, bag making, embroidery and beading. Most of us are beginners! If you prefer to work on your own craft project you are welcome to bring that along. Come along for a morning of great fun and friendship. Contact the office for a program.
