The next Ladies Coffee and Dessert Night is on Monday 15th March at 7:30pm in the Pickering Room. The topic is ‘Religion is for Fools’ with guest speaker Karen Morris. This is a great opportunity to invite atheist and non-Christian friends! Sign-up sheets are available in the foyer of the church or contact the Office.
The first Men’s Breakfast for 2010 will be held on Saturday 20 March at 7:45am in the Pickering Room when Rev. Barrie Sutton will speak on “Cricketers and Criminals – After the War!”. This will reflect Barrie’s former roles as Army Chaplain at Townsville, Chaplain to the Victorian Cricket Team and Community Corrections Officer and State Director of Prison Fellowship. Cost is $10 each and sign-up sheets are available near the front doors of the Church or contact the Office.
Friday 26th – Sunday 28th of February is the annual HTD Parish Camp.
Our venue is the very comfortable, very well situated, kid-friendly “CYC: The Island” Conference Centre in Cowes, Phillip Island.
Our speaker is the internationally renowned Dr Peter Adam, principal at Ridley College, Melbourne. Peter will be speaking to us over 4 sessions on the topic “Power and Weakness in Christ” from 2 Corinthians.
Our Children’s Minister, Ruth Newmarch, and Youth Pastor, Chris Bowditch will also be running a fantastic Kid’s Program for all Sunday School aged children.

Our Summer Bible Expositions this year are covering the books of 1 & 2 Samuel.
Martin Pakula (from the Bible College of Victoria) is giving the first two expositions on Sunday 3rd Jan and Wednesday 6th Jan (8pm).
The remainder will be given by Andrew Reid – at the 6pm service on Sunday nights, and at 8pm on Wednesday nights in January (13th, 20th, 27th).
All are welcome to soak up the Word of God, be challenged to love Christ and enjoy fellowship together.
