The HTD Summer Bible Expositions offer an opportunity to spend a month together with other Christians studying in depth one book of the Bible under the leadership of Andrew Reid, our senior pastor (previously lecturer in Old Testament and Biblical Interpretation at Ridley Melbourne).

In 2012 we will be examining how God unleashes into the world the gospel message about his Son, in the power of His Spirit. All are welcome!

The Gospel Unleashed: Bible Studies in the Acts of the Apostles

Sunday Nov 27th at 6pm:

Come along to hear Jesus’ most famous and misunderstood parable from Luke 15: The prodigal Son.

A special service including students from RMIT university Christian Union. A good opportunity to invite friends and family who want to know about Christianity.

Our senior pastor, Andrew Reid, is currently preaching a series at 6PM focussing on the essence of our faith: The Gospel.

In our Community Groups, we’ll be studying the same topic, taking some of the passages being preached, and helping one another learn through the “Manuscript Discovery” method of bible study.

Note that there will be no 10am service but that the following service schedule will be in place:

• 8AM: Lord’s Supper
• 1:30PM: Combined Chinese and English-speaking Service
  We will also officially open the new renovations, commission new staff, launch two new congregations, and share afternoon tea together.
• 6:00PM: Usual Evening Service
  Andrew Reid will preach at all services: 8am and 1:30pm  on ‘God, Buildings, and Eternal Dwellings’ (Genesis 11:1-9); 6pm on ‘The Power of the Gospel’ (Romans 1:16-17).
